Description
This is a purple water lily in this photograph. This is only a reflection of the water lily in the water. Water lilies live in freshwater areas in temperate and tropical climates around the world. They are rooted in soil in bodies of water, with leaves and flowers floating on the water surface. Water lilies are divided into two main categories: hardy and tropical. Hardy water lilies bloom only during the day, but tropical water lilies can bloom either during the day or at night. Information about water liles was obtained from www.wikipedia.org.
This purple water lily was photographed at Reynolda Gardens in Winston-Salem, NC. The garden is located off Reynolda Road, adjacent to the Reynolda campus of Wake Forest University and the Reynolda House in Winston-Salem, NC. The gardens are open daily with free admission. Today the gardens include 125 acres of woodlands, fields, wetlands and a 4-acre formal garden with greenhouse. Information about Reynolda Gardens in Winston-Salem, NC was obtained from www.wikipedia.org

Wow! What a cool capture! It almost looks like you applied a texture, but in this case, it's natural! Terrific! V/f/L/tw
